Building on the same synthesis engine and maintaining the signature sound of the original, the Nord Lead 2 introduces several enhancements. These include a ring modulator, OSC 1 syncing with the white noise generator, expanded LFO and arpeggiator waveforms and patterns, added distortion for a grittier, punchier filter section, and four individual audio outputs.
All the core elements that made the original Nord Lead a standout—its rich analog-style sound, MIDI control, and intuitive design—are still there. And for those who don’t need the keyboard, the Nord Rack 2 offers all the same features in a compact rackmount format.
